Division 2 is a competitive league for teams (11u-19u) that play full sided games (9v9 & 11v11). This playing model includes home/away games and local travel.

All teams that play in this league will need to be properly registered into the Association Event for Roster/Cards and the AACL league.

Teams playing in the AACL league can be invited based on the number of allocations allotted by state office and where the team finished for the fall season to the Fall Championship in December 2025. Teams are only invited in the order for which the standings reflect. This means BOTH teams MUST email in the match cards for scores to reflect and standings to be properly viewed. No score, means the match card was not submitted.
Division 2 teams will be able to participate in the Spring Cups for 2026.
Based on standings for the fall and spring season, AAYSA will recommend the proper cup for the team. Standings will also provide an insight to a possible promotion into the next level of play, Super 2 (AASL).

Coaches & Team Managers MUST be able to have visible at all games (while on the sideline) a current seasonal 2025/26 Kidsafe Badge.
